Meet Knadia Scott, NP
My name is Knadia Scott. I am a caring Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with exceptional patient relations and communications skills. For the last 13 years, I have effectively been able to guide families through childhood illnesses, disease prevention, and wellness. Though originally from Kingston, Jamaica, I have spent most of my life in South Florida. In addition to English, I speak Spanish, and conversational Creole.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Miami in 1999, Master of Public Health from Florida International University in 2001, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2003, and Master of Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2013. My years of training, experience in my career, and being a mother of 5 have all prepared me in caring for your child. I am pleased to join Dr. Patel and Dr. Mehta at Sunshine Pediatrics of Lutz.
I have two adult daughters in college, the first of which is pursuing vocal performance in preparation for a career in Broadway, and the latter is studying to become a forensic scientist. I also have two teenagers in high school, and a fun and energetic toddler.
I enjoy spending time with my children, singing, playing the piano, working out, and reading.
